We here at Spinner certainly admire a band's willingness to experiment with new sounds. Eric Emm and Jesse Cohen traded the frenetic guitar rock and dance-punk of their former bands (Don Cabellero and Professor Murder, respectively) for a tropical electropop aesthetic when they formed Tanlines in 2008.
